If you are a successful business owner abroad and are looking to invest in a new or existing business in Australia, then the Business Investor Stream is the ideal visa for you.
The Business Investor Stream is a temporary business visa that is valid for 4 years. If you meet certain requirements of your provisional visa after the first 2 years, then you may be able to apply for permanent residence in Australia.

- must be able to demonstrate a successful history of business investment
- must have enough funds and assets to settle in Australia
- must acquire at least 65 points on the innovation points test
You must also submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
